Day 23 in Texas - A Catch Up/Review

Day 1 minus 4 (March 17) - My friend, Debbie, and I set out across the desert with Ginger Puss Gigi, the calico cat, in the back seat. First day, we stopped to see the wildflowers in Joshua Tree. Great year! First night, we stopped in Scottsdale, AZ and visited the botanical gardens at night. Spooky in the dark--especially with a nearby coyote. Second day we drove to Deming, NM. Stopped for the Saguare Cactus on the way. From Deming, we drove to Fort Davis, TX via Mesilla, NM where we did some serious shopping--I added to my collection of Oaxacan animal carvings. From Ft. Davis, we drove into San Antonio on Sunday, March 20--beginning my new life as a Texan. Tres scary!
